When my friend lost nearly 80 pounds, I was so surprised because I hadn’t seen her in a couple of years. She moved back home about a month ago and really surprised all of us. We all kept up on social media, but we all knew she was very shy about sharing pictures of herself. That is why we were all shocked. I did not have as much to lose, but the 25 extra pounds I had been carrying around were very stubborn and simply refused to come off. That can really put a damper on exercise too since people tend to not do things that will hurt them even more. I found a great chiropractor not too far from my apartment, and I was surprised at how quickly I started to learn about better choices, both with nutrition and exercise. I also started getting adjustments done, and the pounds really did start coming off pretty fast. I had found a new determination, and that is all it took. Well, that and the help of my amazing chiropractor!
